Where it all started

The Evolution of the Car

So far, the car has come a very long way. From barely being able to hit 40 mph to easily going 200 mph with today’s new technology.

“It all starts with a dream.”

“First they call you crazy, then they call you for favors.”

The Beginning

Ford T Model

An Icon.

The Ford T Model began its production in 1908 and it was imagined by a man named Henry Ford. Henry was an American Industrialist born on July 30, 1863 and he was the man that developed the technique of the production line and he utilized the production of interchangeable parts. A single Model T could be fully produced and ready to drive in less than six hours in 1925!

The first mass production car, the t model. Over 15 million T models were sold during its era.

It is very obvious that the body styles of cars have been changing drastically over the many long years of production. Many new companies have emerged and fallen during this amazing time of technology. Some of the great companies that closed their doors forever are Plymouth, Hummer, and Pontiac. These car brands were very iconic for a very long time and it is very unfortunate that they couldn’t last for that long.

The Competitive Aspect

Performance for The Public

The 24 hours of Le Mans

The Le Mans Race is possibly the most iconic race in the entire world and it is for a reason. The Le Mans started in 1923 and it started because people are competetive and this race gave the biggest bragging rights to whatever car company won. This race wasn’t just about the car though, the drivers of this race must train for a very long time to prepare for this race because it is very physically demanding. Most racers will not really go to the bathroom during the race and they will just go in there pants because this race is very crucial. Car manufacturers have gone back and forth for years and it is a never ending competition as every year cars get faster and faster.
